When booking a newborn session, so many parents immediately say:
“Just focus on the baby” or “We’re not bothered for being in any photos”
And while those tiny fingers, sleepy smiles, and delicate little details absolutely deserve to be captured, these photographs are about more than just your newborn, they’re about your story together too.
One day, your child won’t just want to see what they looked like as a baby. They’ll want to see you holding them close, the way you looked at them, and how loved they were from the very beginning.

So many new parents feel nervous about stepping in front of the camera. I get it, I’ve been in the newborn trenches myself.
The newborn stage is exhausting, emotional, and overwhelming at times, and it’s completely normal to feel like you’re not at your best.
But your baby doesn’t notice any of that.
Years from now, your children won’t care whether your hair was perfect or whether you felt tired that day. What they’ll see is love, connection, and the way you were there for them in those earliest moments of their life. So if you’re not doing it for you, do it for them.. their memories.

The newborn stage passes so quickly (I know, I bet you’ve heard it a million times from every visitor – but it’s so true). Those sleepy cuddles, tiny stretches, and quiet moments together deserve to be remembered too.
Because years from now, these images won’t be treasured because everything looked perfect. They’ll be treasured because you were in them.
